Evening on the lake...

Wow! We just came in from a very relaxing evening... A boat ride across the lake (very few boats out). It was very peaceful out, as there were very few out and about! We ate dinner on Party Island (had it all to ourselves:). Chloe & Shannon played in the water, while I watched, listened, looked at the beautiful sunset on the horizon, and read a little from "Dear John" (working on this one very slowly). It was just the right temp out, as a storm was far in the distance, making it cloudy and cooler.

On the way back up the lake, we saw many beautiful fireworks - was a great addition to close our evening. Well, almost close our evening... we did pick up a quick ice cream snack on the drive home:) It is days like this that I enjoy the most!!!! Very thankful for them!
